It has various parameters programmed to control the desired boost, air fuel ratio, ignition and injection timing, as well as many other functions such as camshaft control and emissions. It uses sensors to measure these values, compare them to the pre-programmed values and make adjustments in real time to get the desired results.

At Ultimate Performance, we have an Electrical Engineer who reverse engineers the ECUs and modifies the calibration stored on them to increase performance and improve fuel consumption while maintaining driveability and reliability. Having our software developed in-house allows us to tailor each tune to the modifications that your car has, giving you the best possible result.
