Turbo Upgrades
A turbocharger is probably the easiest way to force more air into your motor. Putting it simply, more air is more power. At Ultimate Performance we offer various services relating to turbos:
Turbo repairs and reconditioning
If your turbo has completely failed or on its way out, we can repair or recondition it to restore it to as good as new. We disassemble, source the correct parts and reassemble all in-house.
Hybrid Turbo Upgrades
If your car has a factory fitted turbo, we can upgrade the internals to essentially create a larger turbo inside of the factory housings. During this process, we replace the bearings with upgraded units designed for higher load. The compressor wheel is replaced with a larger billet unit, and the compressor housing is machined to suit. On the turbine side, the exhaust wheel is either machined to increase flow or upgraded to a larger wheel. The turbine housing a machined for the larger wheel and ported to improve exhaust flow and reduce EGTs.

Big Turbo Conversions
In the car community a “Big Turbo” refers to a universal turbo designed for high performance applications. These can be fitted to any car, whether they are turbocharged from the factory or not. The “Conversion” part refers to the fact that certain custom parts need to be made for the turbo to fit:
- Turbo exhaust manifold
- Boost Pipes
- Wastegate screamer pipe
- Custom Induction system
- Downpipe
- Oil and water lines
